Tik Tok is banned!

TikTok will no longer available in Google and Apple app stores in India after a state court that prohibited its downloads.

This is a Chinese app that allows users to create short videos by using various effects. The usage of this app was rapidly grown during the last year with its user-friendly interface.

The most significant thing is the physical presence of users of this app. That means the users have created communities and users have done activities as well as videos together.

As per the Times of India, it is said that TikTok app has been downloaded more than 240 million times in India. Also, more than 30 million users have downloaded this app during the month of January in 2019. Even the main famous characters, especially the celebrities also maintained their own profiles in TikTok.

As it said, the Tamil Nadu court had asked to ban this app on 3rd of April in this year by reasoning that encouraged the pornography and children easily can be targeted by the sexual predators.

However, there were many parties who got many benefits out of this app. Especially the marketing people used this platform to create a viral message among their target audience. Marketers could be able to gain more benefits if this platform also connected properly to their digital strategy. Also, this was a platform to find new actors, actresses to the film industry even.

Finally, it can be concluded that the misuse of TikTok app led to ban this in India.
